中国科教电影电视协会通过“茅庐书院”的组建和开课，将推出富有时代特色、传播力强、专业水平高的科教影视作品，提升科教影视行业的专业水准，以媒体融合思维带动科学普及与科技传播工作，打造构建科学理念，加强国际科教影视文化交流，培养科教影视人才，为繁荣发展科教影视事业的创新体系和支撑平台。

       Gathering the leading talent of the field, the 11th CICSEP introduced Maolu Academy of China Science and Sci-fi Films and Television(Academy of The Thatched Cottage). The academy is set up with an aim to help the science film makers produce more quality science and education programs as well as sci-fi films, enhance new thinking in the era of integrated media, strengthen international communication and train more talents.
