本片通过2011年5月25日在北京首发一套4枚的纪念邮票《中国现代科学家》，引出了物理学家钱三强。通过对钱三强的介绍，人们还铭记另外一位给梦想插上翅膀的学者，因为她才是这个世界上第一个发现四裂变的人——何泽慧，钱三强先生的爱人，被称为中国的居里夫人。本片通过从出生、童年、求学之路、报效祖国不同阶段详细介绍了何泽慧先生平凡而伟大的一生，通过从同事、朋友、家人不同的角度阐述了何泽慧先生在物理事业上超高的造诣以及为国家作出的巨大贡献。
A set of commemorative stamps called China Modern Scientists was issued on May 25,2011, in which physicist Qian Sanqiang was included. Yet another scientist should also be remembered by us, she is the first person that discovered uranium fission four times.She is Prof. He Zehui, Mr. Qian's wife, is called China's Madam Curie.
The film shows the ordinary yet great life of He Zehui by presenting the different stages of her life, from birth, childhood, academic and work careers. The film elaborates her achievements in physics and her contribution to homeland from the perspectives of her colleagues, friends and family.
