6月21日，北京广播电视台科教频道、北京天文馆、北京时间APP联合呈现了一场《金环日食大直播》，形式为台网联动、网络直播和电视节目立体式报道。记者分别在西藏阿里、湖南未阳、北京天文馆与演播室连线，让观众在直播节目中，同时看到多地日食盛况。为更好向观众科普，直播节目中还使用了虚拟演示展现太阳、月球、地球三天体的运动关系，极具视觉效果。

BTV Science and Education Channel，joint with Beijing Observatory and Beijing Time APP，put on a live show of" 'Ring of Fire'solar eclipse 2020"on June 21，2020.The live stream lasted for three hours on Beijing Time App and the concentrated50 minute TV version was aired on BTV Science and Education Channel later.

Reporters went to Ngari Prefecture of Tibet and Leiyang of Hunan，and connect live with hosts in Beijing Observatory and the studio，helping the audience to watch different solar eclipse scenes in different places.The show uses virtual presentation to show the movement of Sun，Earth，and the Moon.
