《科协记忆》以中国科技社团的历史发展为脉络，梳理了中国科协60年发展历程中的重要历史阶段。从中国早期的科技团体萌芽，到中国科协的发起成立，再到各学科学会（协会）的蓬勃发展，既是中国科技群团组织的发展成长史，也是中国一代代科技工作者把个人知识与时代需求相结合、把个人命运与国家命运紧密联结的奋斗史。从科学救国，到科学报国，再到科教兴国，以中国科协为代表的科技群团组织不断改革创新，团结引领广大科技工作者推动中国科技事业的发展。

The documentary reviews the history and development of China Association for Science and Technology(CAST) over the past 60 years, focusing on every major stage from the emergence of scientific groups in the early period to the initiation of CAST to the flourishing development of scientific societies and local branches. It summarizes the history of China's scientific groups and generations of scientists who have satisfied needs of times with personal expertise and devoted themselves to national destiny. Successively guidedby missions of "saving the nation by science","serving the nation through science"and "developing the nation through science and education", scientific groups and organizations as represented by CAST have continued to reform and innovate, uniting scientific and technological professionals to promote the development of China's science and technology.
