This documentary invited several scientists, such as academicians of engineering Li Zechun and Xu Xiangde, to elaborate the formation mechanism of the southwest vortex, and surmised the history of research on the southwest low vortex made bymeteorological professionals during the past 70 years. The spirits of senior meteorologists shown during their persistent pursuit of truth inspire the new meteorological professionals to overcome difficulties, innovate with pioneering spirits and keep on going.
